Oak Cove Properties was founded to provide owners of light and medium-sized commercial properties in Massachusetts the same level of project and facilities discipline as large institutional owners — without the overhead of building an in-house team. We provide owner's representation, facilities management planning, and capital budgeting as a flexible, outsourced service.
Our Experience
Before founding Oak Cove Properties, our team spent numerous years working in-house for a Greater Boston commercial real estate owner and developer, in two complementary roles:Owner's Project Management - Represented ownership across multiple ground-up development and repositioning projects, including a mixed-use residential and retail development, a Class A office/lab building, and a boutique hospitality property. Responsibilities spanned design and entitlement coordination, general contractor and consultant management, budget and schedule oversight, and ownership representation through construction close-out and turnover to operations.Facilities & Capital Planning Management - Managed ongoing operations and capital planning across a multi-property commercial portfolio of roughly half a dozen assets — spanning office/lab buildings, mixed-use retail space, and several nationally-flagged hotel properties. This included preventive maintenance programs, annual CapEx budgeting, vendor and contractor management, life-safety and building system compliance, and day-to-day operational troubleshooting across a diverse asset mix.What This Means For YouThat combination — construction-side project oversight and long-term operating and capital planning experience, across office, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use assets — is the foundation of how we work with clients today.
